I have been a big ole fan of Dr. Mcninja since roughly 2007. I was working on a commission earlier this evening, but upon opening the latest page of the comic I dropped everything and drew this for you. I don’t know who this wonderful President is. I don’t know her credentials as a politician, her opinions on foreign or domestic policy, or how she feels about the state of American health care. However, upon reading this page, I realized that I would follow this woman and her guitar-wreckingly awesome G.Washington 2000 into any battle without question. My only regret is that it is currently 4 in the morning and I cannot draw you a fan’s conception of what that pinnacle of mecha-suit technology looks like.

As Kate Beaton, Meredith Gran, and Carly Monardo have pointed out, the entertainment industry has a certain lack of strong female characters. I have the nagging hope that as the comic goes on, Madam President will be there to fill in those strapping thigh-high leather boots!
